Thanks for
THANKSGIVING...
a Child Opens his
hands up,
he delivers the Food of Will,
f a i t h prepares
H U M B L E,where JOY
brought my Children
an ounce of Security, what faith
transcends,
a H O U S E made ,the Day
work well, happy n Beautiful,
my eyes captured,
the movement of sound,
from pots being
pulled from cabinets,
to the TV, watching the parade,
Happiness was centerstage
Place, like no other,
'for YEARs, felt like home, While silence
reads, Mother is no longer
Here, I ponder the thought, her spirit
was a message in those
pots n pans,
COOK my children,
what gave you GRANDma,
Mommy is Now,
the Queen of her thrown,
She has her aches n pains, hard to deal
with right now, but the Love
agrees, her daughters
came through, w/a Turkey
from NewJersey, Chef
TERRY, fried, God Bless
his hands in preparation, LOVE,
My oldest brought Thanksgiving Morning
at 10o'clock, shocked me
she was here,before we started
Cooking ourselves,
with the Bird.
this man got up,prepared,
five Turkeys, for
his neighbors, at 5:30am..'he was
finished frying by 9:00am..
S I M P L Y A M A Z I N G, wow,
Shatika, Tammy, Tatie,
Nathaniel, All worked hard,
HELPING, We got the JOB DONE,,
by 6:00pm..
D I N N E R T I M E,
GOD;
I THANK YOU
FOR MY CHILDREN,
WHOM ,WITHOUT ,i WOULD BE
L O S T, IN THE SAUCE,
on that note;
Mom loves you all, for the ones
not Showing up,
I wasn't being missed, so
I just moved on,

God; I haven't left the gifts
of scripture
aside from where the hope
for a better tomorrow brings me.
I'm sure your right behind me
in every daily adventure, what wakes me
I am Blessed to discover
Once more, I have arrived, the days
happiness claim as mine
where your Spiritual guide,
helps every morning
to see the light..
what SHINEs as bright as
the gifts that continues to help
this life and carry me
through the storms of bitter fruit
what tries to keep me down
crawling, beg for mercy,
speaks no authority n the Bible
remain aware of my false companions
what follows me , God;I feel
your presence among the EVILs
the wears the air I breathe.
